Bristol based Mubaloo has created the first Android App for the Met Office The app includes a widget and alerts for severe weather and is free to download.

The development was accompanied by a relaunch of existing Met Office iOS apps which have also been redesigned with additional features by Mubaloo.

Neil Commander, account director at Mubaloo, added: “It has been hugely enjoyable and a great privilege to design and develop the new Met Office weather applications. The opportunity to work with the Met Offices’ comprehensive weather data inspired us to produce an accessible and elegant application that we hope will be well received by existing and future app users.”
